Workshop: Pattern Making & Minimum Waste Cutting (2 hours) Winter 2025

Learn 1 point of symmetry pattern making and minimum waste cutting.

When Béa attended the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris or during her time working for Hermès pattern making & design was not taught.  Not being taught the "traditional" pattern making techniques Béa thought outside of the box and developed her own pattern making technique - symmetry method.

Béa took blade & ruler directly to paper after realizing that every bag starts off as a symmetrical item and her symmetry method of pattern making was born.

All levels welcome.  No experience necessary.  The perfect start to your leather working adventure.

What you will learn:

• 1 point of symmetry pattern making method can be used to create all symmetrical patterns. 
• Minimum waste cutting method is perfect when working with exotic materials as it has the minimum amount of waste allowing you to utilize more of your beautiful hide.

All materials and tools are provided in class.
If desired, please bring your own work apron.​
